It has been announced that Mark Powell is now 'Director of Global Development' at 'International Training'.

Instructor Trainer Mark Powell is now Director of Global Development

In 2017, Mark Powell became TDI / SDI's 'International Business' Manager. This job has recently been expanded to become a full-time role for the award-winning author, instructor trainer and 'tech-diving guru'.

Brian Carney, President & CEO of International Training, told X-Ray Mag, "Mark has worked with us for a number of years in a limited capacity, so he already knows how we operate. Mark Powell became an instructor in 1994 and has been actively instructing since then. The diplomatic Welshman is a member of TDI / SDI's Global Training Advisor Panel and he has historically represented TDI / SDI in a number of UK industry roles. Today, Mark Powell sits on a number of dive industry boards that focus on safety and standards. He is a prolific writerand has written several articles for X-Ray Magand two books. Mark Powell is a respected and popular speaker, and talked at many UK domestic dive shows and international conferences such as EUROTEK.
